Waterford & Wexford Education & Training Board

One of the things that makes Waterford & Wexford Education & Training Board (WWETB) unique is the fact that Europe’s first trade-specific ‘Nearly Zero Energy Building’ course is being delivered in their training centre in Enniscorthy. This course provides learners with the knowledge and means to construct buildings which are powered by renewable sources using an extremely low amount of energy.

The latest group to complete the NZEB Fundamentals course in Enniscorthy.

Waterford & Wexford ETB also boasts a full range of more traditional courses with cutting edge content to keep you ahead of the curve, such as Holistic Body Massage or IT, Web Design and Multimedia at Dungarvan College, to Marketing or a course in Word Processing at Gorey Adult Education Centre.

If you needed another reason to study at WWETB then it is worth bearing in mind that Shielbaggan Outdoor Education Centre has been offering courses in adventure and water sports for over 25 years, making it one of the longest running centres in the South East. The centre is located at the base of Hook Head and students learn on land and at sea.

Whether you're an early school leaver, returning to education after a break, or heading straight from Leaving Cert, there is something for you at WWETB. Regardless of age or previous work experience there are options for everyone.
