Located in the gateway to the Wild Atlantic Way in Shannon, County Clare, Atlantic Aviation Group is an aviation solutions provider, offering aircraft maintenance, training and engineering services to national and international aircraft operators and lessors.

In 2017, the Atlantic Aviation Group opened the ‘Atlantic Aviation Institute’ – a state of the art facility for training and upskilling Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and aviation professionals. The Institute offers a number of courses, ranging from introductory courses to aviation, to maintenance engineering traineeships.

The group also offers an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship which has been running for over 30 years. Qualified apprentices can apply to the Irish Aviation Authority to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License upon completion of the apprenticeship which gives them the opportunity to work in aircraft maintenance across the world. The company has a proud tradition of training world class engineers with two Worldskills champions originating from Atlantic Aviation Group since 2013.
