Engineers Week is back! Over seven action-packed days the creative and dynamic field of engineering will be brought to life through screens across Ireland.
The week kicks-off on Saturday, 27th February, STEPS Engineers Week 2021, and runs will until Friday, 5th March 2021.
The celebration consists of a week of activities and events which showcase the wide range of career opportunities on offer in engineering fields, while encouraging young people, families, and teachers to explore the exciting world of engineering.
From every corner of Ireland, engineering professionals and education institutions will be holding fun and informative lectures and workshops – all online, of course!
World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, on Thursday, 4th March, is a highlight of Engineers Week 2021. To mark the day, both primary and secondary school classes are encouraged to utilise the free Wind Energy Challenge Packs, designed for exploring sustainable alternatives in engineering.
