European Vocational Skills Week 2020
Over 1.6 million participants from over 38 countries will come together digitally this week to mark the fifth annual European Vocational Skills Week which takes place from 9th – 13th November.
The theme for this year’s event is vocational education and training (VET) for ‘Green and Digital Transitions’, which is in line with the European Commission priorities of a “European Green Deal” and a “Europe fit for the digital age”.
With over 780 different events taking place across five days, European Vocational Skills Week showcases opportunities through VET and offers learners information and guidance on how to take their first step in a vibrant, hand-on profession.
Event speakers include high-level politicians, VET learners and trainers, academics, entrepreneurs, trade union representatives, CEOs and policy experts, who are all ready to share their expertise and experience of VET.
There are a wide range of interactive sessions each day. VET for Sustainability takes pace on Thursday, 12th November, with participants discussing the role of VET and its relationship with the European Green Deal.
VET Internationalisation on Thursday, 12th November, focuses on the role of VET in international cooperation and how to strengthen international partnerships.
Whatever your passion there is a fascinating programme of online workshops, discussions, talks and information sessions with a huge cast of experienced and inspiring speakers from across Europe and beyond.
